archery endeavors progress. mobile and web design endeavors progress. ...actually those two are sort of crossing paths as well. hah. illustration continues when my eyes cooperate with my hand (sorry, sean! it's taking forever for tux :( ). wild and crazy headaches are still getting random treatments, hoping moving will help. sudden trip to san francisco was interesting, glad to be back in MN and feeling pretty fortunate :P now off to hopefully find some morels, hopefully the trail cams are FULL (of animal pix and not waving grass), tote the DSLRs and get some hike on... aaaaaand maybe get the garden in the ground since it has finally stopped

over the past few months i've been delving into web and mobile design with another team at the day job while still maintaining my other design projects; it's been a pretty rad learning experience. illustration has been picking up steadily which has been incredibly pleasing. freelance projects keep rolling in, too. during my vast expanses of free time (hah!) i've been teaching myself to knit + more advanced crochet when not spending time with family or hunting. also: archery. got a new bow last weekend, i'm exceedingly giddy.

got my new pants, finally! YEEEEEAAAAAH!! they are delightful. between my day job and my freelance i'm an illustrating machine as of the past few weeks. feels good, man. aside from illustrating i've been enjoying the fine hunting the fall has to offer; interesting to bundle up for duck hunting for once. the scenery and harvests have been quite pleasing. i have brewed a delicious squash beer (with most of the work being done by my friend; i provide the squash expertise and directable labor) -- and now a pepper chocolate beer is fermenting (my spice/pepper expertise in action!). what's new with you folks? we communicate so little these days U
